New HCSO deputy sworn in

LABELLE -- On Wednesday, Feb. 16, Hendry County Sheriff Steve Whidden swore in Deputy Samuel Rivera who was joined by his friends and family for the ceremony.

Deputy Rivera holds a Criminal Justice Degree with a minor in Sociology. After college, he attended and graduated the SW Florida Public Service Academy for Law Enforcement.
 
Deputy Rivera will be joining the road patrol.
