Health Departments in Hendry County provides free COVID-19 Testing

CLEWISTON/LABELLE — The Health Departments in Hendry and Glades Counties will provide free drive-thru COVID-19 Testing in LaBelle and Clewiston. No appointments are necessary. Adults and children over five years of age can be tested. Children require parent’s consent. No criteria or restrictions for testing.

Testing wll be provided at the following location and new hours:
• Hendry County Health Department, 1140 Pratt Blvd. in LaBelle, on Monday, Feb. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m.
• Hendry County Health Department,, 1100 S. Olympia St. in Clewiston, on Monday, Feb. 8 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Persons tested will be given instructions on how to receive their test results.

Please help stop the spread of COVID-19:
• Follow social distancing – Keep at least 6-feet of space from others.
• Don’t go to work, school, church, or shopping while you are sick.
• Cover your face with a cloth face covering when you are in public or around others.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

• Cover your coughs and sneezes; cough or sneeze into a tissue NOT in your hands!
• Clean and disinfect frequently used surfaces.
• Avoid unnecessary travel.
