HENDRY COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) during the period from Jan. 10-16, 2022.

• Matthew McIntyre, 37 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 11, by Sgt. Olvera and charged with probation violation.

• Thomas Garza, 22 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 1,1 by Deputy Rodriguez and charged with probation violation.

• A 15-year-old male from LaBelle was arrested on Jan. 11, by Sgt. Hernandez and charged with probation violation.

• Araceli Castro, 27, of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 12, by the HCSO Narcotics Unit and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a specified area, use of a communication device to facilitate a felony, possession of marijuana over 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Christina Velasquez-Loarca, 22, of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 13, by Deputy Coronilla and charged with DUI.

• Kodie Richardson, 25 of Muse, was arrested on Jan. 13, by Cpl. Hull and charged with flee with disregard of safety to persons or property, possession of meth with intent to sell, possession of drug equipment, reckless driving and vehicle theft.

• Thomas Bert Wilson, 21 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 15, by Cpl Bustamante and charged with armed robbery, kidnapping and burglary.

• Guarionex Mercado Nieves, 40, of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 15, by Deputy Ramirez-Reyna and charged with possession of controlled substance without prescription and driving with suspended/revoked license.

• Maurice Brown, 49 of Fort Myers, was arrested on Jan. 15 by Cpl Bustamante and charged with probation violation.

• Tracie Rivera, 37, of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 16 by Deputy Zavala and charged with aggravated battery.

• Maria Rico, 36, of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 16 by Deputy Afonso and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

• Marcus Hardy, 2,7 of West Palm Beach, was arrested on Jan. 16 by Sgt Scelfo and charged with trespassing and carrying concealed weapon without permit.
