HENDRY COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) during the period from Jan. 3-9, 2022.

• Cody Bear Cooksey, 31 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 3, by Deputy Rosado and charged with probation violation.

• Sedrick Maurice Folley, 44 of Lehigh Acres, was arrested on Jan. 3, by Deputy Champagne and charged with failure to appear.

• Joyce Marie Goode, 55 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 3, by Deputy Champagne and charged with probation violation.

• Maurice Everett Wilson, 29 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 4, by Corporal Movalli and charged with habitual traffic offender and unlawful speed.

• Alvino Castillo, 25 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 4, by Deputy Gulliford-Green and charged with possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug equipment.

• Dale Keith Thompson, 29 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 4, by Deputy Rosado and charged with probation violation.

• Ronald Looker, 53 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 4,  by Deputy Rosado and charged with custodian sexual battery on victim 12 years of age under 18 years of age.

• Tex Joseph Elkhatib, 44 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 5, by Detective Colon and charged with damage property – criminal mischief $1,000 or more, petit theft second degree third subsequent offense and burglary dwelling or structure causing damage over $1,000.

• Carlos Hernandez, 21 of Naples, was arrested on Jan. 6, by Sergeant Olvera and charged with grand theft of motor vehicle and larceny.

• Shiva Lorde, 28 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 8, by Deputy Movalli-Vary and charged with driving while license suspended habitual offender.

• Fausto Jose Garcia, 32 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 8, by Corporal Drew and charged with driving while license suspended third subsequent violation and possession of marijuana.

• Derick Dustin Rock, 19 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 9, by Corporal Drew and charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and flee/elude of law enforcement with lights and sirens.

• Lafawn Shiva Lorde, 28 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 9, by Deputy Zavala and charged with probation violation.

• Chary Massiel Telleria Hernandez, 32 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 9, by Deputy Gulliford-Green and charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older.

• Kiorkis Rodriguez, 44 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 9, by Detective Whelpley and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault with deadly weapon with intent to commit a felony, possession of a firearm by convicted felon and firing weapon on public or residential area.

• James Martin Valenziano, 61 of LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 9, by Deputy Champagne and charged with DUI.

• Michael Jermanine Ruiz, 31 of Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 9, by Sergeant Nunemaker and charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon without intent to kill and contempt of court.
