Hendry County impounds donkey

HENDRY COUNTY -- On Nov. 24, Hendry County Agricultural Deputies impounded a white donkey located in the area of Power Line Road and CR 833.
 
The donkey is male and white in color, he was located running down Power Line Road with a rope around its neck.
 
The donkey was captured and taken to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office Impound for safekeeping.
 
To claim ownership of the donkey please call Hendry County Sheriff’s Office at 863-674-5600 and ask to speak with an Agricultural Deputy.
 
Under Florida Law, the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office posts online photos and information on livestock found at large. After three days, if they have not been claimed by their owners, the livestock may become the property of the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office.
