Posted

CLEWISTON — Hendry Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is proud to announce Dakota Redd, R.N., as the new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

Redd has over 35 years of diverse clinical healthcare experience in cardiovascular nursing, emergency medicine, and nursing leadership. He previously held the positions of Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Patient Safety Officer, and Emergency Department Director at HRMC. Before coming to Clewiston, he served as Director of In-Patient Services and Emergency Department at a critical access hospital in Potosi, Missouri.

Redd brings an extensive background in critical access hospital nursing operations. “My focus is community-based, with a passion for the patient experience. I look forward to creating a framework of nursing excellence with an emphasis on tailored care for our patients,” stated Redd.

His leadership style is hands-on and transformative, with a focus on three key areas of patient experience, quality, and communication.

“We are pleased to have Dakota Redd accept the position of CNO,” said R.D. Williams, C.E.O. “His commitment to quality healthcare and the patient experience will elevate our pledge to compassionate, innovative, and high-quality care close to home.”

“Nursing has been a joyous journey and has given me so much. I am looking forward to giving back to the staff of Hendry Regional and the residents of Hendry County,” said Redd. Redd earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University.
