HCSO sergeant attends human trafficking awareness seminar

Posted
LABELLE -- On Jan. 11 HCSO Sgt. Wanda Hainley attended the Integration Challenges: All Hands on Deck to End Human Trafficking in Southwest Florida Training, which is intensive one-day training on Human Trafficking.

There were several attendees from around the area with this year's focus on continuing to build on past progress and empowering the community with knowledge.

Today, Florida ranks third in the nation for calls to the National Human Trafficking Hotline and knowledge on how to detect and report human trafficking is key to helping end this crisis.
