Posted

NAPLES, FL – March 28, 2023 – Immokalee native, Hodges University alumna, and Immokalee Foundation President and CEO Noemi Perez has recently been honored with two new professional leadership awards.

Perez received a 2022 TOP LATINO LIDERES (Latino Leaders) Award from Latin Times Media

during the Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Centennial Park in Fort Myers. Perez joins a select group of professionals throughout Southwest Florida to receive the award.

In addition, Gulfshore Business has included Perez on their list of 10 REMARKABLE BUSINESS WOMEN who are making their mark in Southwest Florida. All honorees are business owners or senior-level executives who have mastered their business.

Winners will be honored on May 15 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa and will be recognized in the May 2023 issue of Gulfshore Business.

“Noemi’s passion for the students is obvious in all that she does, and she has built a culture in which that passion is pervasive throughout the organization,” said Immokalee Foundation Board Chair Jerry Belle. “She is a seasoned networker, reaching out to the community to promote the Foundation’s mission. Her willingness to delegate while leading has resulted in one of the most efficient organizations I have ever been involved in — 39 staff support 1,300 students from elementary school through postsecondary, with a stellar 100% graduation rate for Immokalee Foundation high school students. These wonderful recognitions are well deserved.”
