Indiantown officials seeks public input to plan and design future village hall

Posted

INDIANTOWN – Village of Indiantown officials seek public input to assist in the planning and design of its future Village Hall located between Warfield Blvd and Osceola Street and between Trail and Seminole drives.

Community members are being asked to participate in a Visual Preference Survey. The survey provides a series of photos that portray different aspects of public buildings and the related indoor and outdoor spaces. Photos are exhibited to provide the public with opportunities to help design the new Village Hall.

“We are excited to hear what members of the public would like the new facility to include. All ideas are welcome,” said Althea Jefferson, Community and Economic Development Director.

Visual Preference Surveys will be held on the following dates and locations:
• Wednesdays: Jan. 20 and 27; February 3 and 10, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Fridays: Jan. 22 and 29; Feb. 5, 12 and 19, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Village Hall, 15516 SW Osceola Street, Suite C;
• Sunday, January 24, 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., following Mass, Holy Cross Catholic Church, 15939 SW 150 Street;

• Tuesday, February 2, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Indianwood Golf & Country Club Recreational Center, Shaw Hall, 14574 Rake Drive;
• Sunday, February 7, 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m., Family Worship Center, 15285 SW Indianmound Drive.

The site of the new Village Hall was purchased on Aug. 20, 2020. Indiantown officials expect to begin construction of the new facility once planning and design are complete.
