Letter to the Editor: Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — The Salvation Army would like to thank all Okeechobee Citizens as well as the volunteers from Kiwanis, Rotary and Raulerson Hospital for the successful Ringing the Bell fundraiser for 2020, raising $11,557.41 in 10 days. We also are grateful for the individuals and families that rang for us. Without them and the clubs we could not have been successful. All funds raised remains here in Okeechobee.

We also thank WOKC for the air time explaining what Salvation Army is all about, how they assist families and individuals in need in Okeechobee.

Our Salvation Army office is located in the New Horizon complex, 1600 S.W. Second Ave. in Okeechobee, behind the theater. For a consultation, call 863-763-6020 or stop by the office.

Again, thank you for your generosity.

God Bless
Salvation Army Administration
