Letter to the Editor:
Help stop the bulldozing of an oak hammock

Posted

INDIANTOWN — This was sent to the Martin County Administrator and Commissioners and others; I am part of an exponentially growing group of concerned citizens who are meeting and taking action.

Hello please help us in Indiantown.

In November of 2020 without personally notifying the local residents, without signs, during a pandemic with limited Village meeting access and during the Presidential election confusion our Village leaders completely rezoned and changed the land use of Indiantown to make us urban/suburban and will be allowing bulldozing of a huge 55 acre oak hammock in an area where we live on .28 to 2+ acre lots.

Please help us stop all this development.

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all will be added to you (us/Indiantown) Matt 6:33

John “JP” Pasquale

rezoned, urban, suburban, bulldozing, oak hammock
