Library hosts events to celebrate National Library Week

OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Public Library, 206 S.W. 16th St., is hosting several events to celebrate National Library Week April 5 through April 14. All events are free and open to the public.

Library mystery game & raffle

  • Tuesday, April 5 through Saturday, April 9
    Every day during operating hours
    Can you solve the clues to win prizes? Try out this family-friendly escape-room style mystery and be entered to win a Spring Raffle for more prizes!

I-Spy Challeng & raffle

  • Tuesday, April 5 through Saturday, April 9
    Every day during operating hours
    Find all of the hidden items in the Spring Display and get a small prize and be entered for your chance to win even more prizes!

Scavenger Hunt & raffle

  • Tuesday, April 5 through Sunday, April 14
    Every day during operating hours
    Find all of the hidden chicks at the Library to receive a small prize and be entered into our Spring Basket Raffle!

Spring Drive-Thru event

  • Saturday, April 9, from 3 to 5 p.m.
    Drive through the library parking lot and receive free craft activities, candy, books and more!

BOCC Proclamation

  • Sunday, April 14, at 9 a.m.
    You’re invited to attend the meeting of the Okeechobee BOCC where the library will be honored with a county proclamation.
