BELLE GLADE -- A 55-year-old Port St. Lucie man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Conners Highway on Oct. 2 at 8:23 a.m., according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report.
The 2010 Infinity was traveling northwest on County Road 717, when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the guide rail on the northeast side of the road. The vehicle then crossed both lanes of traffic and struck the guide rail on the northwest side of the road. The vehicle vaulted over the guide rail and impacted the berm and come to a final rest on its roof. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
