Mobile home fires impact nine Immokalee residents

IMMOKALEE --  Nine people, including a child, were affected by  fires at a mobile home community on Saturday, April 23 according to the Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Multiple fires broke out in Immokalee mobile homes on South Fourth Street, according to the report.

American Red Cross volunteers helped coordinate emergency aid to the nine victims.

The Red Cross is providing emergency financial assistance, health and mental health services, one-on-one support to connect people to available recovery assistance and will continue to provide additional support to the families to meet their disaster-caused needs.
