OKEECHOBEE -- The Okeechobee Music Festival will offer discount festival tickets to Okeechobee County residents on Jan, 7 and 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. each day, at the main gate of Sunshine Grove (aka Sundance Trails), 12517 N.E.91st Ave., Okeechobee.
General admission passes for the four-day festival will be sold for $100 to local residents. Buyers must show a government-issued ID (such as a driver's license or passport) showing proof of Okeechobee County residents. There is a limit of one pass per person. Day parking passes are free for Okeechobee County residents who purchase a festival pass.
The festival, set for March 2-5, will feature some of the biggest names in the worlds of electronic music, hip-hop, jam, punk, reggae, and more. Headliners include: ODEZA, Baby Keem, GRiZ, Excision, Earth Wind & Fire, Goose, Local Natives, and Turnstile. The festival will also include the popular PoWow! jam session mashup featuring special guests.
