No injuries reported in KOA fire

OKEECHOBEE – Okeechobee County Fire Rescue was dispatched to KOA regarding a fire in motor home on March 7 at approximately 2:15 a.m.

When the crews arrived, they found an RV and a camper fully involved. All occupants were out of the homes and accounted for.

It was determined the fire started in the RV and then spread to the camper. The owners of the RV said the fire started in the back of the RV, and they did not know what started it.

There were no injuries reported.

The state fire marshal was notified.
