Fort Center Avenue to be closed for road work

FORT DENAUD — On Monday, April 11, Hendry County Road & Bridge will be closing Fort Center Avenue in Fort Denaud to install culverts along the road.

Fort Center Avenue will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists should allow extra time for their commute.

The installation of culverts will improve drainage in the area.

Residents or motorists with any questions or concerns can contact the Hendry County Engineering Department at 863-675-5222.
