OCSO investigates shooting

OKEECHOBEE - On Saturday, June 12, 2021, at approximately 10:59 p.m., Okeechobee County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 1700 block of NW Sixth Street in reference to a shooting.

The complainants, who live nearby, advised they heard multiple gunshots.

Upon further inspection it was determined that three men had forced entry into the home. The residents were uninjured.

The suspects were described as three males, wearing gray hoodies and black masks, armed with a rifle and two pistols.

At a later time, three persons arrived at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
