The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Christopher Lein, 34, Fort Pierce, was arrested Sept. 10 by OCSO and charged with kidnapping, domestic violence and tampering with evidence. He is being held without bond.

• Rendon Niceforo, 32, U.S. 441 North, was arrested Sept. 14 by OPD and charged with driving without a license third or subsequent offense. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Joseph Bennett, 15, Okeechobee, was arrested Sept. 14 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and with battery. He was transferred to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

• Nassir Sanders, 15, Northeast 168th Street, was arrested Sept. 14 by OCSO and charged with sexual battery, robbery and kidnapping. He was transferred to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

• Amanda Perry, 31, Southeast 61st Drive, was arrested Sept. 14 by OCSO and charged with intentional child abuse. Bond to be set by the judge.

• Derrick Clay, 31, Southwest 11th Street, was arrested Sept. 14 by OCSO and charged with introducing contraband into a detention facility. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Laron McNeil, 29, Northeast 15th Street, was arrested Sept. 14 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery. Bond was set at $25,000.

• Shelly Goist, 49, Southeast 24th Boulevard, was arrested Sept. 13 by OCSO and charged with false imprisonment, petit theft, unarmed burglary of an unoccupied structure and theft by sudden snatching. Bond was set at $11,000.

• Juan Mata Jr., 48, Northeast Sixth Avenue, was arrested Sept. 13 by OCSO and charged with false imprisonment, petit theft, unarmed burglary of an unoccupied structure, theft by sudden snatching, fleeing and eluding law enforcement and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $12,000.

• Jesse Lyng, 37, Okeechobee, was arrested Sept. 13 by OCSO and charged with felony battery and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $8,000.
• Charles Hill IV, 36, Southeast 38th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with selling methamphetamines and with possession with intent to sell. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Santos Justiniano Lopez Felix, 50, Northwest 36th Terrace, was arrested Sept. 13 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Steven Marshall, 55, Clewiston, was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with false imprisonment, petit theft, unarmed burglary of an unoccupied structure and theft by sudden snatching. Bond was set at $11,000.

• Tessa Vanhouten, 22, Southwest 13th Street, was arrested Sept. 11 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $60,000.

• Corey Cain, 46, Northeast 30th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Nicholas Thompson, 23, Southwest 14th Court, was arrested Sept. 15 by OCSO and charged with five counts felony violation of probation. He is being held without bond.

• Salvador Medrano, 17, Northeast 80th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 15 by OCSO and charged with robbery with a firearm and grand theft auto. Bond was set at $55,000.

• Abigayle Ericson, 20, Northwest 34th Street, was arrested Sept. 15 by OCSO and charged with robbery by sudden snatching without a firearm. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Randy Simington, 65, Southeast 28th Street, was arrested Sept. 17 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Amanda Davis, 38, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with burglary with assault or battery and with battery. Bond was set at $10, 500.

• Justin Hoover, 37, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested Sept. 16 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Jesse Zipperer II, 34, Southeast 43rd Street, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid and with driving without a license. Bond was set at $3,000.
