OKEECHOBEE — Between Friday, August 20 and Thursday August 26, 938 students and/or staff members were excluded from in-person instruction in Okeechobee County Schools due to possible COVID-19 contact:
•Central Elementary- 57
• District Staff- 0
• Everglades Elementary- 69
• North Elementary- 143
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 12
• Okeechobee Freshman Campus- 228
• Okeechobee High School- 60
• Okeechobee Virtual School-0
• Osceola Middle School- 262
Between Friday August 20 and Thursday August 26, 70 students and/or staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
•Central Elementary- 3
• District Staff- 4
• Everglades Elementary- 8
• North Elementary- 9
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 1
Since school began on August 10, 2021, 2,310 students and/or staff have been excluded from in-person instruction and 175 have tested positive.
