OKEECHOBEE — Between Saturday, Sept. 11 and Friday, September 17, 210 students and/or staff members were excluded from in-person instruction in Okeechobee County Schools due to possible COVID-19 contact:
•Central Elementary- 50
• District Staff- 0
• Everglades Elementary- 23
• North Elementary- 32
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 0
• Okeechobee Freshman Campus- 26
• Okeechobee High School- 19
• Okeechobee Virtual School-0
• Osceola Middle School- 15
During the same time period, 19 students and/or staff tested positive for the virus.

• District Staff- 0
• Everglades Elementary- 3
• North Elementary- 3
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 0
Since school began on August 10, 2021, 3,216 students and/or staff have been excluded from in-person instruction and 290 have tested positive.
