• Okeechobee City Fire Department responded to 17 medical/EMS, one fire related, seven motor vehicle accident, two false alarm and two canceled calls between Dec. 28 and Jan. 3.
• Okeechobee County Fire Rescue responded to 112 medical/EMS, three fire related, seven motor vehicle accident, four aircraft standby, seven dispatch and cancel and seven miscellaneous calls last week. Of 97 possible transports, 16 were refused.
