Okeechobee Library hosts Halloween drive thru and more events

OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Library, 206 S.W. 16th St., will host the following events:

• Solve the case, an escape room style game where you play the detective and figure out clues to solve the case of who robbed Isabella Cunningham’s jewelry store. You only get 20 minutes! You can come alone or in groups up to six. You can solve the case any day in October from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the library.

• The library and Parks and Recreation invite you to the Floating Pumpkin Patch on Oct. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the pool in the Sports Complex. There will be Halloween crafts, family swim, and more.

• Halloween drive thru on Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. at the library.

• Come join the new book club! The next meeting is on Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at the library. Registration is required. Call 863-763-3536 to register.
