OKEECHOBEE — On May 16, the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force received information about a marijuana grow operation at 2965 Northwest 34th Avenue.
Task Force members and our Special Response Team (S.R.T.) served a probable cause narcotics search warrant on the residence stemming from the investigation.
Korey Sallette, Emiley Close, and a 13-year-old juvenile were all detained upon serving the probable cause warrant. During a search of the home, marijuana, L.S.D., mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, and a B.H.O. (butane honey oil ) lab used to extract T.H.C. were found inside the residence.
Sallette was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana, manufacture of T.H.C., possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and drug paraphernalia.
Close was arrested and charged with for cultivation of marijuana, possession of psilocybin, possession of L.S.D., possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and drug paraphernalia.
