IMMOKALEE — Pace Center for Girls Collier is excited to welcome Sharon Tolnai to the organization as Development Manager. Sharon Tolnai has been a long-standing volunteer with Pace, spear-heading the Love That Dress! raffle donations in 2018-2019, and auction items in 2020. Tolnai is not new to the non-profit realm as she has held Board of Directors positions for the Junior League of Fort Myers serving as VP of Community and Communications Councils.

“We are pleased to welcome Sharon to the Pace family. Sharon will bring awareness of the Pace mission into a community where we no longer reach people through big events. Sharing the good work we do with girls is important now more than ever,” said Marianne Kearns, Executive Director. “Sharon’s work will elevate opportunity for the girls and the Collier center”.

Tolnai moved to SWFL in 2005 from Seattle, Washington. Prior to Seattle, she attended Marymount University, in Northern Virginia, where she earned a B.A. in Fashion Design and has worked in the retail industry since then. “As Development Manager, I look forward to utilizing both my creative and strategic business skills to benefit these girls and give them the opportunity to succeed in life,” said Tolnai. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Tolnai currently resides in Naples with her husband, Eric, and the couple enjoys boating and deep-sea fishing on the weekends.

Pace Center for Girls Collier serves “at risk” girls between the ages of 12-18 by providing strengths-based, trauma-informed, and gender-responsive academics and social services. Pace values all girls and young women, believing each one deserves an opportunity find her voice, achieve her potential and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity, and grace.
