Pahokee teen to compete in Junior Olympics

PAHOKEE -- Jamaria Richardson, 13, of Pahokee is heading to Greensboro, N.C. to compete at the Junior Olympics. She is already an Amateur Athetic Union (AAU) Record Holder, four-time AAU National Champion, and a four-time AAU Junior Olympian. Jamaria's personal best times are:

•  400 meter- 57.7 seconds;

• 200 meter- 26.2 seconds;

• 1500 meter- 5:15 ;

• 4x400 meter relay- 3:59.
