OKEECHOBEE- The Okeechobee community gathered at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center to celebrate Independence Day on July 4.
The free Independence Day celebration featured fireworks, games, a watermelon eating contest, cornhole tournament, and more. The event was hosted by Okeechobee Masonic Lodge No. 237 and Okeechobee Fraternal Order of Police.
Fireworks were choreographed by Zambelli Fireworks International.
