LABELLE – Due to unforeseen circumstances, Hendry County’s contractor, OHL USA, Inc., will be continuing to conduct drainage pipe removal and installation services requiring full road closure on the west end of Fort Denaud Road from State Road 80 to Fort Denaud Bridge Way in LaBelle on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Operations will require the road to be temporarily closed with local traffic permitted only. Visual message signs and traffic control signage will be in place to detour traffic to SR80 and Huggets Road.

Flagmen will be present to help direct traffic.

The speed limit will be reduced through the project area.

Motorists should expect lane closures and possible delays throughout the duration of the road work operations and allow extra time for their commute.

Motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

Residents or motorists with any questions or concerns can contact the Hendry County Engineering Department at 863-675-5222.
