OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution presented certificates of appreciation to several local businesses for their continued support of veterans. Some, like W&W Lumber, provide discounts on purchases for all veterans, and others provided donations, free meals, or other services to those who have served the country. Certificates were presented to W&W Lumber, Glady’s Restaurant, Home Depot, Publix, Parrott Island Grill, and Applebee’s.
