LABELLE – The 2022 Scarecrows on the Wharf event will feature scarecrow couples.

Families, associations, clubs, businesses, community groups, youth groups and individuals are encouraged to compete.

All entries must consist of a pair of scarecrows, attached securely to poles or posts and dressed as a famous couple. They can be celebrity couples, movie couples, historic couples, TV couples, cartoon couples, Disney couples and classic partner pairs.

Registration deadline is Sept. 23. Event dates are Oct. 3-21. Set up is Saturday, Sept. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 2. Scarecrows must be completed at dusk on Oct. 2. Scarecrows must be removed by sunset on Oct. 30.

Scarecrows on the Wharf is sponsored by MOPs of LaBelle and LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation.
