Several CSX Railroad crossings to close for maintenance and repair

Work in Indiantown is expected to begin Jan. 14

INDIANTOWN — Southern Commercial Development, LLC, on behalf of CSX Transportation, is conducting the maintenance and repair of several railroad crossings in Palm Beach and Martin counties. According to their traffic control division, the work will necessitate a rerouting of traffic. Signage will be in place marking detour routes and each crossing will be closed for two to five days depending on the work required. In special circumstances where crossings are the only egress for the traveling public, special accommodations may be made.

Affected crossings in the Village of Indiantown, Martin County, are as follows:
• SW Kanner Hwy (Near Southwest Warfield Overpass and Southwest Indiantown Avenue) - closing on/around Jan. 14;
• Southwest Farm Road (Between Southwest Madison Avenue and Railroad Avenue) - closing on/around Jan. 14;

• Southwest Silver Fox Lane (Off of Southwest Warfield Blvd., across from Southwest Fox Brown Road) - closing on/around Jan. 19;
• Southwest FP&L Access Road (Off of Southwest Warfield Blvd.) - closing on/around Jan. 19;
• Jan. 19 Amaryllis Avenue (Off of Southwest Warfield Blvd.) - closing on/around Jan. 19;
• Southwest Tommy Clements Street (Off of Southwest Warfield Blvd.) - closing on/around Jan. 20;
• Brady Ranch Road (Off of Southwest Warfield Blvd.) - closing on/around Jan. 20.
