Sheriff and commissioner team up to feed first responders

Posted
OKEECHOBEE -- Commissioner David Hazellief, Sheriff Noel Stephen, and several members and businesses of our community  partnered to provide lunch for all OCSO personnel today and all Raulerson Hospital staff on Friday, September 3.

They wanted to show a small token of their appreciation for the hard work, long hours, and dedication to our community during this pandemic and the recent resurgence.

Lunch was BBQ ribs, baked beans, green beans, and a roll.

"Thank you to all who  cooked, worked, and donated to make this luncheon possible. We appreciate you so very much!"

It’s a #FeelGoodFriday when you know your community supports you! Thank you to our amazing Sheriff, Noel Stephen, his office and the Okeechobee Board of County Commissioners for feeding the entire Raulerson Hospital team a BBQ lunch.

This deliciously-kind gesture was much appreciated by our colleagues as they continue #CaringDuringCovid.
