OKEECHOBEE -- The 2023 Okeechobee Speckled Perch Festival kicked off with a parade in downtown Okeechobee on March 11.
Following the parade, the Okeechobee Cattlemen's Association drove a small herd of cattle along the parade route.
The festival continues Sunday in Flagler Park, opening at 10 a.m.
The second day of the Cowtown Rodeo will be Sunday at the Okeechobee Cattlemen's Rodeo Arena on U.S. 441. Gates open at noon. The rodeo starts at 2 p.m.
