FORT PIERCE — Registration for Spring 2022 at Indian River State College (IRSC) is now underway. The new Spring term features a full complement of in-person instruction; hybrid courses, which blend both face-to-face and online instruction; and a schedule of wholly online courses available through the IRSC Global. Classes start Jan. 5, and now is the best time for new students to apply and register to get started this Spring.

Enrollment and Student Services staff are ready to assist new and returning students at all campuses in-person and through virtual appointments. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.irsc.edu/admissions/enrollment-services.html

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a great next step in the IRSC admissions process and is recommended for all new degree and certificate-seeking students. NSO offers a mix of academic, educational, and social activities to prepare students for a successful college career. They also will meet with their designated Student Success Coach as well as get to know other students. NSO will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. This event will take place at the Massey Campus at 3209 Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce. Can’t make the date? Students can register for Online Student Orientation at https://irsc.edu/admissions/new-student-orientation

In addition to NSO, students are invited to attend Campus Preview Days where they can meet their Campus President and get acquainted with their primary campus. Campus Preview Days are Thursday, Nov. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

• Chastain Campus, 2400 S.E. Salerno Rd., Stuart, FL 34997, Susan H. Johnson Auditorium

• Pruitt Campus 500 N.W. California Blvd. Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, Schreiber Conference Center, Bldg. D

• Dixon Hendry Campus, 2229 NW 9th Ave., Okeechobee, FL 34972, Williamson Conference Center

• Mueller Campus, 6155 College Lane Vero Beach, FL 32966, Richardson Center Auditorium

Current students can register for classes online through MyPioneerPortal. New students, should apply to IRSC at www.irsc.edu. Financial aid is available to those who qualify—91% of IRSC students graduate without debt. Virtual information sessions are offered to help apply to IRSC; understand residency, financial aid, and transfer services; connect with an advisor, and more. Sessions are also available for those interested in enrolling in IRSC Bachelor’s Degree programs and for prospective Dual Enrollment Students.
