Posted

LABELLE -- Crews will be resurfacing and widening portions of SR 80 from the Lee County line to Grandma’s Grove RV Resort. Additional work includes installing new signage and pavement markers and replacing guardrail. During construction there will be daytime and nighttime lane closures on eastbound and westbound SR 80.

Plans for the Week of July 4th include the outside shoulders will be closed to accommodate shoulder rework and preparation for sod next week.

No resurfacing operations are scheduled for the week of July 4, but are set to resume the week of July 11.

Remaining work on the project includes, structural milling and resurfacing, shoulder/sod treatment, friction course asphalt and final striping.

Please follow posted reduced speed limits within the work zone of the lane closures.
