MOORE HAVEN – Mrs. Browning and Mrs. Palladino’s second grade classes at Moore Haven Elementary School have been learning about the works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King was a great advocate of social justice, acts of service and kindness. The students listened to his “I Have A Dream” speech about his dream of a United States that is void of segregation and racism. Currently all Glades County students are studying from home. On Jan. 19, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Alice Beth Barfield announced all Glades County students would learn from home Jan. 20 through Feb. 1 due to the recent increase in COVID-19 positive cases.
