WEST PALM BEACH – Palm Beach County School District’s 36th Annual Oratorical Contest in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was held virtually on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021. This year’s topics were:
Grades K-2: Health & Safety were important to Dr. King. “How are you staying safe at school and at home since COVID-19 started?”
Grades 3-5: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a worker in the community. “How can you help serve your community during the coronavirus crisis?”
Grades 6-8: History tells us that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an advocate for all people. “What vision do you have for unifying the Glades communities?”
Grades 9-12: Dr. King evolved and changed the world by participating in peaceful, non-violent marches.
