Texas deputies show up with donations

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — Many of us dodged a huge bullet in Okeechobee. Sadly, the west and parts of central Florida did not.

They require hurricane donations such as hygiene, dog and cat food, baby items, non-perishable foods, and small kids' toys.

You can donate to Our Village or American Drilling, as they are taking over donations to the Arcadia area with regular shipments.

Speaking of donations, Sheriff Stephen would like to take a moment and thank Sheriff Bobby Rader, Liberty County, TEXAS!

Sheriff Rader contacted Sheriff Stephen last week, and yesterday, Sgt. Paul Young and Corporal Brad Taylor showed up with many supplies for our efforts in Arcadia.

Pictured are Liberty Co. S.O. Deputy Brad Taylor and Sgt. Paul Young with Okeechobee County SO Det. Jose Garduno, Lt Chris Hans, K9 Handler Deputy Karson Reno, and Capt. Shannon Peterson helped unload the items at Kyle Renos, who happens to be organizing the American Drilling drop-off
