Dear Seniors, Parents, and Guardians,

Congratulations! Your big day is almost here.

Class of 2021 spring graduations are quickly approaching, and the School District would like to share plans and protocol for this year’s in-person ceremonies.

The District is excited to hold 32 in-person graduation ceremonies for the nearly 14,000 graduates of the Class of 2021. They will take place between June 3 and June 19. Twenty-eight of those commencements will take place at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center.

For the complete schedule of graduations, visit https://www.palmbeachschools.org/cms/one.aspx?portalId=270616&pageId=12722891

Pahokee High School graduation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 15.

Glades Central High School graduation ceremony will take place on Friday, June 18.

Because of the COVID-19 social distancing protocol, this year’s ceremonies will look different from the ceremonies in the past. The district produced this informative video to help you visualize what graduation day at the fairgrounds will look like:

For families and friends who are unable to attend the ceremonies in person, all ceremonies will be streamed live online at palmbeachschools.org, on Comcast channel 234, and AT&T U-Verse channel 99. Recordings of the live ceremonies will be posted on the District’s website shortly after each commencement.

For those parents who do not wish to have their child participate in the ceremony in person, your student will still be recognized during the reading of the names.

It is important to note that the School District continues to follow the most recent guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), local, and state health departments. The health and safety of our graduates, staff, and guests remain our top priority. With that in mind, the District reserves the right to cancel the in-person events if health conditions warrant such action.

Graduates, your academic achievements and resilience during this challenging time is an accomplishment that should make you very proud. Superintendent Donald Fennoy, the School Board, and the entire district are looking forward to celebrating you on your special day.
