“The Snow Queen” is at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center

BELLE GLADE — The Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center is excited to announce the return of Missoula Children’s Theatre on Friday, June 25. Journey with fun-loving Hobgoblins to the “land of colored ice” as they tell the tale of a young girl and her quest to find her best friend. You may find yourself believing in malevolent mirrors, yetis, talking reindeer, and snow chickens when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and local students perform an original musical adaptation of “The Snow Queen”.

The local cast currently features Ru’nijah Jackson as Gerda; Conner Harper as her best friend, Kay; and Alana Morris as the Snow Queen. Abby Slonaker will play Kay’s Grandma/Old Robber Woman/Lappish Woman and the Gardner Woman/Finnish Woman will be portrayed by Halie Bankhead. Solana Sharp plays Bae; Lester Finney plays the Prince/Yeti; Q’Mora Aldridge portrays the Princess; Kayleanna Bankhead plays Little Robber Girl; and Mr. and Mrs. Crow will be Conner Harper and Adri Slonaker. The imaginative, fun-loving Hobgoblins are Natalia Aldridge, Aubrey Burgis, Veronica Kitchen and Lleyai Williams.

“The Snow Queen” will be presented at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 (adults) and $6 (children under 12) and can be purchased by calling the box office at 561-993-1160. The Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center is located on the Belle Glade Campus of Palm Beach State College at 1977 S.W. College Drive.
