PALM BEACH COUNTY — A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office press release stated that at approximately 5:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, a 2019 Nissan Sentra operated by Daniel Robinson, 60, of Lake Placid, was traveling eastbound on Indiantown Road at the intersection of Pratt Whitney Road.

A 2016 Ford Fusion operated by 26-year-old Ja Quay Johnson, of Riviera Beach, was traveling southbound on Pratt Whitney Road at the intersection of Indiantown Road.

A 2007 Honda Fit operated by 31-year-old Jerrica Boyckin, of Port St. Lucie, was traveling northbound on Pratt Whitney Road at the intersection of Indiantown Road.

The Nissan entered the intersection under a red traffic signal into the path of the Ford. This caused the front of the Nissan to collide with the passenger side front of the Ford.

As a result of the collision the Nissan and the Ford were redirected southeast and collided with the driver side front of the Honda. The Nissan continued southeast, colliding with a guardrail in the southeast corner of the intersection. The Ford came to rest on the east side of the intersection facing south. The Honda spun clockwise in a southeast direction and came to rest facing west south of the intersection.

Robinson (Nissan driver) was reported to have been transported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue to St. Mary’s Medical Center, due to injuries sustained during the collision, and was pronounced deceased.

Johnson (Ford driver) and Mr. Boykin (Honda driver) were transported to Jupiter Medical Center with serious injuries sustained as the result of the collision.
