LABELLE -- We are super excited to kick off LaBelle's Swamp Cabbage Festival week by participating at the Greater LaBelle Chamber's Night on the Town event! United Way information about our internal programs along with the agency programs that we support will be available at our booth. Please stop by and participate in our Cork Pull. Donate $20, pull a cork from the jar, and win a bottle of wine! It will be a lot of fun! We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 6-9 p.m.

“Last year’s Cork Pull was such a great success.  We had 45 bottles of wine donated! People were excited to win their mystery bottle of wine and we even received donations from those that didn’t want a bottle of wine, but wanted to help us reach our goal,” said Lisa Sands, United Way Hendry Glades Manager.

The plan this year is to get 60 bottles of wine donated and raise $2,000. That amount will go towards the overall United Way Hendry/Glades goal of $339,370.  All money raised in the Hendry and Glades area stays local, helping area United Way Partner Agencies and the community.
