OKEECHOBEE — Many Okeechobee XFinity customers woke up Tuesday morning to find they had no internet or television service. The area affected extended from Treasure Island to the Southwest section, out near Indian River State College and possibly further.
Many local businesses reported no internet or phone service.
According to XFINITY, they were performing scheduled maintenance and expect to have systems restored by 9 a.m.
