FORT MYERS — The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice Office of Prevention Services in collaboration with mortuary service industry professionals presents the The IMPACT Experience. This presentation will explore careers in mortuary/funeral services via Zoom on Thursday, May 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The IMPACT Experience is for the youth in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hendry, Glades, Lee and Desoto counties in connection with mortuary service industry professionals.

This is an open dialogue and experience that aims to increase youth interest in professional and non-professional careers while building character development and promoting higher school performance.

The mortuary service industry offers a number of recession proof jobs with great earning potential, minimal training and preparation time to get started. These rewarding careers offer individuals the opportunity to support and serve families during emotional, difficult times of personal loss.
