CLEWISTON — On Sept. 10, the Clewiston Hampton Inn celebrated their first anniversary with an official Grand Opening. The event started at 4 p.m. and ended at 7 p.m.
The evening was filled with live entertainment, food and champagne. During the event, guests had the opportunity to tour the hotel and see all the great amenities it has to offer.
The tour on the ground floor included the outdoor pool and lounge, the up to date fitness center and the event center (which holds up to 80 people). Next, guests traveled to the third floor to view room 314, one of the handicap assessable rooms offered at the Hampton Inn and room 316, a standard double queen suite.
The most notable activity of the event was the grand red ribbon cutting (this can be seen live on the Clewiston Chamber of Commerce Facebook page). The Patel family celebrated this moment together as Mr. and Mrs. Patel cut the ribbon, officially opening the Clewiston Hampton Inn.
