First Bank donates $100,000 to Hurricane Ian Relief

Posted

CLEWISTON — First Bank has pledged to donate $100,000 to six organizations that are helping with the Hurricane Ian relief project. The six non-profits are as follows:

1. Collaboratory/United Way,
2. Samaritan’s Purse,

3. Harry Chapin Food Bank,
4. Rotary District 6960,
5. Florida Gulf Coast University, and
6. Florida SouthWestern State College.

First Bank selected these six organizations because they are making boots-on-the-ground efforts to help those in Southwest Florida impacted by Hurricane Ian.

First Bank is also setting aside $25,000 of this donation to match any employee contributions and hours volunteered to help in the restoration cause during this time of great need.
