The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) during the week of Jan. 11-17:

• Nicole Joy Alcantara Martinez, 39, Clewiston was arrested on Jan. 11, by Deputy R. Colon on an outstanding warrant/felony failure to appear.

• Andrew Mark Ballard, 39, Ft. Myers, was arrested on Jan. 11, by Deputy S. Bustamante on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and driving while license suspended.

• Anthony Javier Crespo, 18, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 12 by Sgt. R. Krasinska, on possession of controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug equipment.

• Ricardo Madrid Gomez, 23, LaBelle, Jan. 13, Deputy J. Purvis on charges of felony battery by strangulation.

• Manuel Enrique Ortiz, 25, Clewiston was arrested on Jan. 13, by Det. D. McNeil on charges of premeditation homicide, use of a firearm during a felony and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

• Melinda Maria Pulido, 39, Immokalee, was arrested on Jan. 13, by Deputy D. Coronilla on charges of Possession of cocaine and possession of drug equipment.

• James Antonio Bonner, 17, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 15, by Deputy R. Colon on an outstanding warrant/felony failure to appear.

• Suyin Escobar Escobar Giron, 35, LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 15, by Deputy A. Champagne for felony failure to appear and 2 counts of violation of probation.

• Johnathan Ivory Harper, 43, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 15, by Deputy S. Bustamante on charges of felony failure to appear.

• Fernando Gonzalez, 20, LaBelle was arrested on Jan, 16, by Deputy D. Coronilla on charges of burglary with assault or battery and grand theft.

• Joseph Matthews, 40, LaBelle on Jan. 16, by Deputy D. Coronilla on charges of DUI and child neglect with great bodily harm.

• Yair Yonatar Sayago-Mendoza, 27, LaBelle was arrested on Jan. 16, by Deputy R. Colon on charges of DUI, operating a motor vehicle w/o valid driver’s license, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug equipment and providing false ID to LEO.
