July 4 mosquito schedule

LABELLE -- Hendry County will be conducting adult mosquito control operations prior to the 4th of July holiday. These operations will commence Saturday, July 1, and will continue until Monday, July 3. The treatments will be performed during evening hours, weather permitting. Treatment operations will return to regularly scheduled days starting Wednesday, July 5. The insecticide to treat for adult mosquitoes is approved for application by the Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Florida. This operation will be conducted by Clarke.

• Fort Denaud (section 3)
• Capt Hendry (section 4)
• North Labelle (sections 1, 2, 6, 17, 18)
• North US27 (section 13)
• Hookers Point (section 14)
Sunday:
• South LaBelle/Airport (section 19)
• Double J (section 7)
• Wheeler (section 15, 15N)
• Davis Pratt (section 23)
• Port LaBelle (sections 24, 25, 26, 27)
• Banyan Village (section 28)
Monday:
• Montura (sections 11, 20, 21, 22)
• Flaghole (12)
• Pioneer (section 8, 9)
• South US29/Sears (sections 5, 16)
• Felda (section 10)
Tuesday:
• Closed 4th of July Holiday
When aerial adult mosquito control operations are planned, public notices will be issued to inform residents and landowners.
If you have questions concerning this operation, please call Clarke at 800-443-2034 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
