Malinda Crowell

Malinda Crowell was born on September 26, 1936 in Basinger, FL to Robert and Nettie B. Smith. Malinda retired from the Florida School for Boys as a Paraprofessional.
Malinda married the love of her life, Alphonso Crowell (proceeded her in death) and to this union five children were born, four daughters and one son, two proceeded her in death Eunice and Alphonso, Jr.
Member of First Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by three devoted daughters Alphonsine Dean of Clearwater, Florida, Marilyn Crowell of Okeechobee, Florida, and Linda Crowell-Gjertson of Sarasota, Florida. Three sisters, Eight grandchildren, Twenty-two great grandchildren and Twenty-four great-great-grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
On Thursday, June 8, 2023, as the sun began to set, surrounded by her family, Malinda answered her call to gain her wings. Malinda was laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, June 17, 2023
