CLEWISTON – The Clewiston Sugar Festival has added The Frontmen and Ella Langley to the lineup for the 2024 festival.

“The Frontmen have 30 No. 1 hits, have sold 30 million albums and are the soundtrack to every Friday night honkytonk, first kiss and broken heart for the last 30 years. Fans sing the words to every song in every set – and while many people have yet to know their name, just about everybody can sing their songs,” the Sugar Festival organizers shared on social media. “The Frontmen – comprised of 3 former lead singers, Larry Stewart (Restless Heart), Richie McDonald (Lonestar) and Tim Rushlow (Little Texas) – is country music’s hottest new supergroup. The men have already mastered the stage, succeeded on radio and nightly take sold-out audiences on a rollercoaster of 90’s nostalgic smash hits then transcend their past hit parade with fresh new & original songs that are unmistakably The Frontmen today.”

“Ella Langley’s music kicks like a smooth Alabama whiskey. Her dyed-in-the-wool country storytelling and anthemic hooks go down easy, while moments of attitude-laden rock ‘n’ roll might just knock you on the floor,” the festival social media page states. “The singer and songwriter distills her honest experiences and formative inspirations into an intoxicating and inimitable brew of her own. Hailing from Hope Hull, Alabama, she tirelessly gigged in bars and at local festivals before relocating to Nashville in 2019. She quietly built an audience on social media with a series of singles. Her songs ‘If You Have To’ (2021), ‘Damn You’ (2022), and ‘Country Boy’s Dream Girl’ (2022) have continuously fueled her momentum with tens of millions of streams on each track. Simultaneously, she landed high-profile cuts behind-the-scenes. She co-wrote Elle King’s 2022 single ‘Out Yonder’ in addition to four more tracks on Come Get Your Wife. As a formidable performer, she toured with the likes of Jon Pardi, Riley Green, Koe Wetzel, Randy Houser, Cody Johnson, and Jamey Johnson in addition to sharing the stage with Lainey Wilson and Parker McCollum. Meanwhile, she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and Spotify pegged her as a ‘Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2023.’ Flexing showstopping vocals, a razor-sharp pen, and no filter whatsoever, she’s quietly emerged as a phenomenon with tens of millions of streams and a growing fan base.”

Jordan Davis will headline the festival. Austin Snell and Dalton Dover will also perform.

The free festival is planned for Saturday, March 16, 2024, in Civic Park off U.S. 27 in Clewiston. The festival will include free concerts, an antique tractor display, a car show,  a free kids play park, a baking contest and more.
